I've been in the design and construction industry since the middle 80's. I've had the opportunity to build my experience on the shoulders of giants and gain a special kind of knowledge that comes with associating with the masters of industry.
My professional life started with a pencil in my hand and the hope of becoming a qualified designer. As life progressed, I was able to build on my knowledge by getting more involved in the construction end of the profession, and learning what every designer should; how to build.
Later on, I began my own design business, and applied what I learned along the way into each and every project that I was privileged to be a part of.
The desire to learn made continuing education a living part of my professional life. And, with an overwhelming curiosity as to why classical buildings just look better, I began to pursue an education in proportion and massing with The Institute of Classical Architecture, and made every effort to apply the principles learned into every project regardless of the style. "There is a right way", and now I know why.
Life's experiences have taken me from step to step, and I'm hoping to apply what I've learned into my next opportunity.
